How to say "Please ~" in Japanese ? : Japanese lecture by Kamonohashi

Like this situation , how do you tell to your friend your feeling of "Please" in Japanese??

In English , when we want ask a favor to someone , we often use the word "please".

In Japanese , it is

お願いします(おねがいします)-onegaishimasu-

お願い(onegai) means "wishes" ~します(shimasu) means "I do~" so お願いします(onegaishimasu) means like "I wanna make(do) my wishes come true .So please accept my favor. "

How to use this words??

It's so simple!!

Request+Favor + お願いします

For example ,

I'm hungry so I wanna eat something. Give me something to eat please!!

Japanese:

私はお腹がすいていてなにか食べたいです。何か食べ物を下さいお願いします。

(watashi wa onaka ga suite ite nanika tabetai desu. nanika tabemono wo kudasai onegaishimasu.)

In this case ,

Request :

English : I wanna eat something.

Japanese :なにか食べたいです(nanika tabetai desu)

Favor :

English : Give me something to eat

Japanese : 何か食べ物を下さい(nanika tabemono wo kudasai)

Please :

English : Please!!

Japanese :　お願いします。(onegaishimasu)
