関西弁

(kansai ben)

The dialect used in Kansai region

関西(kansai) means Kansai region.

弁(ben) : This kanji means something about "talking".

I'll talk about Japanese dialect mainly about Kansai ben.

Why I talk about his topic is , I want you to not use Japanese dialect if you are beginner of Japanese.And , so many my foreigner friends often ask me about "関西弁(kansai ben)"

We Japanese don't think too much but , according to them(my foreigner friends) , "関西弁(kansai ben) is so cool!!! I want to use it!! Teach me 関西弁(kansai ben)!!"

関西弁(kansai ben) is not bad words of course !! But ,when we Japanese heard 関西弁(kansai ben) , we feel .....hm.....what to say....ah , it sounds sleezy(sleazy)!!

(* by the way , sleezy(sleazy) is チャラい(charai) in Japanese)

So , if you don't have enough knowledge of 関西弁(kansai ben) but , use it to some older person , perhaps the person may feel "What a rude you are!!"
