How to say Excuse me , I'm sorry in Japanese.

When , you did some bad things for others , you say "I'm sorry" and , when ask to person something you say "Excuse me?"

How to say in Japanese?

Actually , you can say same saying in Japanese.

It is "すみません(sumimasenn)"

Of course you also can say in another way for each but , SUMIMASEN is easy.

We Japanese have 2 meaning for this word .

・Apologize
・Asking

EG:

Excuse me but , ma I have your name?
すみませんが、お名前を教えて頂けますか?
(sumimasen ga onamae wo oshiete itadakemasuka?)
(* ~ga means ~but ,)

I'm sorry it's my mistake.
すみません。それは私のミスです。
(sumimasenn. sorewa watashi no misu desu.)

Today's extra lesson.

In Japanese I guess you often find this Kanji isn't it?

It reads "watashi" 私(watashi) means "I"
Both male and female can use this Kanji to express I.

PS: Sorry today's lecture is very short^^; forgive me!!!
